FREE HEALTH SYSTEM COURSE

A health system comprises all the organizations, institutions and resources (elements) that are dedicated to producing health actions. The intrinsic goal of a health system is to protect and improve the health of people, that is, it is concerned with the health of people.

In addition to patients, families, and communities, ministries of health, health care providers, health care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, health financing agencies, and other organizations

All of them have important roles to play, such as monitoring, health service delivery, financing, and resource management.  Healthcare systems can be divided into four important areas.

The first area focuses on understanding health service organizations and their challenges. In the second area, we find WHO’s six core components or building blocks of health systems, with particular reference to primary health care and the need for community participation in planning, delivering and evaluating these components of the system.

In the third area, we have the specific systems component of human resources development and training creation, and the fourth area consists of health policy development and advocacy with stakeholders.

This course is aimed at students who have no previous knowledge of health systems or who are beginning to explore this area of study and who want to be involved in the management of health programs and the creation and improvement of health systems in general.
