Paragliders vaguely resemble parachutes, as they are where they evolved from. However, they are much more. Paragliding is now at a very exciting stage in its development, as it is just a fun method of descending from the hills.

The paraglider offers the pilot the feeling of a real free flight for hours and hours. Using modern high-performance materials, only weighs a few kilograms and is perfectly packed in a backpack.

This makes this “plane in a bag” totally portable and can complement other sports such as skiing and mountaineering. Paragliding is a potentially dangerous sport, so under no circumstances should you attempt to fly a paraglider without proper training.

Your first step should be to enroll in a Free Paragliding Course, offered by a certified paragliding school. While attending a school, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to fly safely.

What are the Paragliding Courses ?

A Paragliding Course is a training that will teach you how to become a safe and competent paragliding pilot. During the course, you will perform a minimum number of flights, including ridge augmentation and thermal heating.

During this first phase, you will acquire the fundamental concepts of paragliding. The exercises will be repeated until you have assimilated all the movements during the short take-off run, the flight, the landing.

After putting on the paraglider and the pilot’s connection harness, you will find the order: inflation and hitting on soft slopes, ground turns and braking, first take-off and landing, flights that increase the slope and the course.
