A Monitoring Course is a program of study that trains students to be leisure and recreation instructors or monitors.

The student of this course will learn techniques and group dynamics, animation resources, expression and creativity. Environmental education will also be one of the skills they will gain during the course.

The course will teach students the basic resources for providing and monitoring nature and outdoor activities. In a Monitoring Course, real projects are usually elaborated, free time activities that allow the student to know the importance of organizing all the resources (human, material …), how to carry them out and how the final evaluation of them is made.

The student will learn how the use of free time has changed throughout history, what needs have arisen and how we can meet them. The course also helps to physically train participants in the sports covered by the course.
