FREE LEISURE COURSE

Sometimes it can be difficult and overwhelming to figure out what to do to bring some free time into one’s life, but it is better to step back and remember that leisure is a subjective term.

Free time is crucial to one’s life because it allows the individual to de-stress, to calm down from the day, from work, from study and from caring for others. Leisure activities also allow people to bond with each other, during a meal in a restaurant or through good conversation.

Leisure activities can also be visibly productive. Some people enjoy reading, writing, making music or cooking. Another great form of productive leisure is exercise. There are instructors for this. Outdoor instructors lead and supervise groups and individuals engaged in outdoor activities, teaching the skills and techniques relevant to the particular activity being undertaken and ensuring their safety.

They may work with novices or more experienced clients, and with youth or adults, including groups with special needs. Instructors are employees of private companies, as well as charities, local education authorities and other organisations.

The emphasis may be on recreation, self-development or teaching activity-specific skills. An outdoor instructor may offer short sessions or be responsible for a group on longer trips and expeditions. The role also extends beyond the activity itself: in residential centres, instructors will probably be involved in general clean-up duties and will be responsible for all aspects of the group’s well-being.

If you have a tendency to entertain and enjoy healthy recreation and to lead groups and camps it is time to take a Free Leisure Course.

What are the Leisure Courses ?

A Leisure Course is a training where you will learn how to organize a camp, a cultural visit, a nature activity, a trip to the mountains or the places of interest of your city.

You can also programe and carry out socio-cultural animation activities in educational centres and game rooms. In our current society, free time is a resource that children and young people should make good use of. You will learn how the use of free time has changed throughout history, what needs have arisen and how we can meet them.

Institutes elaborate real projects, free time activities that allow to know the importance of organizing all the resources (human, material …), how to carry them out and how the final evaluation of them is carried out.

Education in free time is the ideal resource that allows to include all people, regardless of their physical, mental or cultural needs, adapting the activities to each group. Due to this, you will learn techniques and group dynamics, animation resources, expression and creativity.
