FREE BACHELOR DEGREE IN CHEMISTRY

The future of chemistry has barely begun, considering its infinite possibilities of development, which demand the continuous appearance of new chemical specialties.

Chemistry is a very broad area of study that encompasses skills and personalities from the highly analytical and mathematical to the more visionary, synthetic and creative.

Chemistry is an almost unlimited science and one of the driving forces behind the progress of society . In fact, without chemistry there would be no drugs, no plastics, and none of the other products used on a daily basis. Therefore, chemistry is not only a science, it also represents a complete industrial sector.

The degree in Chemistry offers theoretical and experimental training on what chemistry is and how it can be analyzed and transformed, both from a scientific perspective and from possible industrial applications.

The Bachelor of Chemistry prepares students for careers as professional chemists and serves as a foundation for careers in other fields such as biology and medicine.

The curriculum offers a thorough fundamental knowledge of the major fields of chemistry, covering the general areas of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, as well as many more specialized courses including analytical, nuclear and biophysical chemistry and chemical biology.

Students gain laboratory experience in inorganic and organic synthesis, analytical methods, physico-chemical measurements, spectroscopy, biochemical engineering.

Bachelor Degree in Chemistry generally lasts 4 years full time. The relatively large number of laboratory sessions is one of the characteristics of the Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. That is why up to 40% of the class hours take place in the laboratory. In addition, an external work placement (optional subject) can be done in companies of the chemical sector.

What is and What Does a Bachelor in Chemistry Do ?
